Back in 2016, Joe had drawn this one up to be a freelance ad hoc cover for Topcow Darkness #101 and wanted it coloured up. He decided to give me a shot at it and it would mean my 'break' into Topcow as well!!

Well I came up with a green-themed picture but then so did the 'official' guy that Marc Silvestri had gotten to colour it... and they went with his (even though I think mine looked better..) BUT THEN, the cover itself got the boot in favour of one drawn my Marc Silvestri (boss of Topcow) himself, so this one was never used at all. Joe Weems now just uses it as a convention print I believe.

Anyway, a few years later I had another go at the colours and came up with this purple theme, which maybe if I'd gone with back in the day might have won them over...?
